THE BIRTHPLACE OF MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI

Michelangelo Gioielli srl is based in Caprese Michelangelo, the birthplace of Michelangelo Buonarroti. Caprese sits on the ridge of the Apennines in the greenest part of the Val Tiberina Toscana.

Woodlands of beech, chestnut and oak trees stretch across this uncontaminated setting, making the air very healthy. The chestnut, since time immemorial called the “bread tree” occupies a preeminent place in the history and culture of Caprese.

Chestnuts and mushrooms, along with truffles, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries, are the local fruits of this land and basic to its economy. History, art and environment merge to compose the realm of Caprese.

This cradle of Tuscan art is where the creations of Michelangelo Gioielli are born with a rigorous attention to detail combined with precious materials and Italian design.
